Responsibilities

The IT department is responsible for:

  • IT governance: This refers to the combination of policies and processes that ensure IT systems are effectively run and in alignment with the city's needs.
  • IT operations: Perform daily work for the city's IT department. This includes providing technical support, network maintenance, security testing and device management duties.
  • Hardware and infrastructure: Focus all area's to all the physical components of IT infrastructure. Setup and maintenance of equipment like routers, servers, phone systems, security surveillance and individual devices like laptops, tablets, and desktop support for the City of Park City.
